With the launch of multiple feature handsets to life time jaadu packs… It seems all telecom operators and handset vendors in India are heading towards innovating new things. Of course they need to do so to survive in the cut throat competition going on around the Indian telecom industry.

Yes, what you listed just now is true. Even we were not sure about it, but recently, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) of India recommended to ban the use of Chinese handsets to the Department of Telecommunication (DoT), and it is about to be implemented in India. The Intelligence Department of India is against those Chinese phones just because, some Chinese phones are not equipped with IMEI Numbers and pose serious threat to the national security.1 CommentIf you are stuck in Reliance since long time, then you must surely be knowing about this plan in Reliance (CDMA), wherein you are eligible for making unlimited calls to any Reliance number across India. Way back in early 2000’s, this plan was launched under the supervision of Dhirubhai Ambani, with a fixed monthly rental of some 770 Rupees for prepaid and postpaid subscribers.

Sounds quite wired! isn’t it? Even I was surprised and found hard to believe it. But its the fact. I am still speechless and guess even you too must be.. But the TATA’s have really come up with such an amazing plan wherein you’ll get unlimited calling & SMS, doesn’t matter which network you are calling within India.
This is not all, with this plan you get unlimited data transfer (GPRS) and free roaming incoming. But the only point in this offer is that, it comes bundled with Blackberry phones that is recently introduced by TATA.2 Comments49 Comments
A year ago, we posted an article about getting Orkut scraps via SMS, and many Orkut users appreciated it. Basically it was a combination of services provided by Mytoday SMS feeds and Orkut feeds. Let me also tell you that this trick was first discovered by Pavan. But, unfortunately the service stopped working within a couple of months as Mytoday server was overloaded. Now we are glad to inform you that, this service could be reactivated using Google SMS channels. No Comments
Being myself a Reliance user, I was looking for the availability of such value added services in Reliance since long. You must be aware that Airtel was the first operator in India to introduce ‘Song Catcher’ facility followed by Vodafone and other major cellular operators and finally by Reliance. Basically Song Catcher is a facility wherein a subscriber can set a caller tune of his choice simply by holding his phone against some music source (like speakers, T.V., Radio, etc).
