Lenovo has announced the launch of three new budget smartphones in its popular A-series today, being the A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700. All of these phones launched today are 4G Mobiles and supports VoLTE feature out of the box. They are also compatible with the incredibly popular Reliance Jio and customers can also avail the Reliance Jio preview offer with a validity of 90 days.
Sudhin Mathur, Executive Director – Mobile Business Group, Lenovo India said the following at the annoucement,
“The Lenovo A series is one of our star performers and last year, we sold a million plus units of A6000, A6000 Plus and A7000. Continuing the legacy, the A6600 and A7700 series offers brilliant performance with unparalleled user experience at a competitive price point.”
The Lenovo A7700 comes with a 5.5 inch HD display, a 64-bit MediaTek quad-core 1.0Ghz processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8 MP rear camera with dual LED flash, and a 2900 mAh battery. It also has twin rear speakers by Waves Maxxaudio which helps in amplifying sound while minimizing noise and voice distortions. As mentioned before, the smartphone comes enabled with VoLTE technology based SIM card through which you can make HD voice calls easily.
The Lenovo A7700 is available in Matte white and Matte black colors and is priced at INR 8,540 and can be purchased from a retail outlet from September end.
The Lenovo A6600 and A6600 Plus series of smartphones also come with the same quad-core processor as in the A7700 and have 1GB and 2GB of RAM in the 6600 and 6600 Plus respectively. Other prominent features of the series include a 5 inch HD screen, 8 MP autofocus rear camera with flash, VoLTE enabled SIMs, 16GB internal storage and a 2300 mAh battery.
The A6600 series of smartphones are also available in Matte white and Matte black color options and pricing starts at INR 6,999. They will be available from mid September at your nearest brick and mortar stores.
