ASUS Zenfone Live launched in India at Rs.9999

Asus on last Wednesday launched Zenfone Live in India with “Beauty Live” app, world’s first live-streaming beautification technology. The company claims the hardware to be optimized alongside real-time beautification technology engineered for users to share glamorous pictures live.

Chief Features include beauty live app which uses smart software algorithms and hardware acceleration to remove blemishes and is compatible with Facebook, Instagram, and You Tube’s live streaming. Users will be looking glamorous through the session using both the front and rear camera.

It also features fine tune selfie camera for snapping sharper and clearer selfies where the camera uses extra large 1.4 micron pixels to improve light sensitivity. Dual MEMS microphone lets you keep noise level reduced to a great extent so that the live session streamed in total clarity.

It houses a five magnet speaker along with smart amplifier which maintains smart loudness while not damaging the speakers. The output produces is 67 percent louder than previous generations. The Smartphone also features DTS headphones X which uses surround sound technology that synthesizes a full 7.1 sound experience while maintaining the clarity and quality over headphones.

Design wise the phone lives up to the hype and features premium construction, metallic-finish, 2.5D cover glass and 75%screen to body ratio. The display is a 5 inch HD IPS display which sports a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels along with a blue light filter for eye protection. The ZenFone Live is 141.18 x 71.74 x 7.95 mm in dimensions and weighs 120 grams in total. Sensors installed inside include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and a proximity sensor.

Inside it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad Core processor (model not specified) along with Adreno 305 GPU. As far as memory is concerned it has got 2GB RAM, 16 GB ROM with extended support from a micro SD card up to 128 GB. The company also provides 100 GB of Google Drive storage for 2 years. It is set to launch with Android 6.0 marshmallow with Zen UI 3.0.

Camera department as earlier mentioned does have the live streaming real-time beautification technology on both the shooters where front camera is a 5 MP shooter with large 1.4-micron sensor for 2x light sensitivity with f/2.2 aperture and soft light LED flash. The rear shooter is a 13 MP Pixel Master camera having ƒ/2.0 aperture and dual LED flash.

The entire Smartphone structure is powered by a non-removable 2650 mAh battery that company claims to provide 158.8 h of standby time, up to 24 hours of 3G talk-time, and 17.1 hours of Wi-Fi browsing.

Zenfone Live from Asus will be available for Rs. 9,999 starting may 24, 2016 at all the major offline and online stores in Navy Black, Rose Pink, and Shimmer Gold colors to choose from.
