Honor 20 Pro Flagship to Feature Fortnite Support & Punch-hole Display

In an event in London on May 21, the flagship Honor 20 pro would debut. This smartphone would feature the famous hole punch on the top-left corner of the display. Honor joined the hole-punch bandwagon with the Honor View 20, but it appears that the Honor 20 Pro’s hole-punch will be larger than the one we’ve seen on the Honor View 20.

As per a post on Digital Trends we can see the phone sitting on top of the retail box. Earlier leaks also hinted the phone to have a quad camera setup on the back. Also, the Honor 20 Pro was featured with a white gradient design having a tinge of light pink hue to it. The wallpapers used on the phone as shown in the picture are clearly stating how brilliantly are they been merged with the hole punch display.

Rumors & Leaks

Rumor has it the Honor 20 Pro will have a larger AMOLED with an in-display fingerprint scanner  The phone is shown flaunting a thin chin at the bottom and virtually non-existent bezels at the top and sides. The high-end device, to be unveiled in London along with a host of other devices on May 21, will also have side-mounted SIM tray, in-built Amazon Alexa and Fornite game. It is rumored that the phone would be rocking the Kirin 980 SoC.

Specifications

Honor 20 and the Honor 20 Pro are said to features a 6.1 inch and 6.5-inch display respectively.

The flagship from Huawei is tipped to sport a 40-megapixel primary camera utilizing the custom Sony IMX600 image sensor with RGGB filter. Coupled with 20-megapixel wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom support, and a ToF camera. On the front, you get 32 MP selfie shooter. honor 20 Pro will distinguish itself from the quality of camera it is equipped with.

The phone is also expected to sport 8GB RAM/256GB of inbuilt storage. The device would be powered by a 3,650 mAh battery which would have support for 22.5W fast charging. The price is rumored to be around 2,999 yuan in China (about 400 euros) for the normal version. The Pro variant is likely to be correspondingly expensive. It will also be available in three colors black, white, and blue.
