Motorola Partners with Airtel to Offer 4G Smartphones with Rs. 2000 Cashback

On February 23, 2018, the largest telecommunications services provider, Airtel announced an association with Motorola Mobility India where they will be offering budget-friendly 4G smartphones under Airtel’s ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative.

Under this initiative, Motorola’s Moto C and Moto E4 along with Lenovo’s K8 Note shall be made available with a flat cash back of Rs. 2000. Moto C features 5-inch display having a quad-core processor clocked at 1.1GHz. Inside the same, you get 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which will be expandable up to 32GB via micro SD cards. The camera on the rear is a 5 MP shooter coupled with 2 MP selfie snapper on the front. Payment to be made is Rs.5999 and cash you get Rs.2000 cash back making an effective price of Rs.3999.

Moto E4, on the other hand, features 5-inch display, 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, 8MP rear and 5MP front camera with selfie flash. You will have to pay Rs.8499 where you get Rs.2000 cash back making the phone effectively available for Rs.6499.

Lenovo K8 Note is available for Rs. 12999 where you get Rs.2000 as cash back and the final pricing would be Rs.10999. The K8 Note features a 5.5-inch display, 2.3GHz Deca Core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal memory. The camera on the rear is a dual setup of 13MP and 5MP along with 13MP selfie camera with party flash on the front.

All smartphones will come bundled with a special recharge pack of Rs 169 from Airtel offering 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited calling benefits – local and STD. The cashback benefit of Rs 2000 will be given to customers in two installments over 36 months. A customer needs to make Airtel prepaid recharges worth Rs 3500 within the 18 months to be eligible for the first cashback installment of Rs 500. Similarly, another set of recharges worth Rs 3500 over the next 18 months will make the customer eligible for the second installment of Rs 1500.
