HTC Incredible S, Desire S and Wildfire S showcased at MWC

HTC showcased three new handsets Incredible S, Desire S and Wildfire S at "Mobile World Congress 2011" . The first two are high-end models and Wildfire S is a mid range phone. All these phones have the older names with S added to the latter part of them which means these phones are upgraded versions of those handsets.

  • 512 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM and expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD.
  • Stereo FM radio with RDS.
  • 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 384 Mbps, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 with FTP/OPP for file transfer and A2DP, GPS with A-GPS support.
  • 1230 mAh Lithium-ion battery with talk time – 350 minutes (3G) / 430 minutes (2G), Stand by – 570 hours (3G)/ 360 hours (2G).

HTC Incredible S which is just 11.7 thick and has 8MP camera and 1.3 MP secondary camera which is great. HTC Desire S is also sleek phone which is 11.6mm thick and has 5MP camera and a secondary camera. Both these phones have 1GHZ cpu with Adreno 250 GPU which will be great to for multitasking. Expected price will be around Rs30,000 in the Indian market.

The HTC Wildfire S which is upgraded version of Wildfire is 12.4mm thick, has HVGA screen instead of QVGA and 512MB RAM instead of 384MB. It also has Adreno 200 GPU for better graphic rendering and Bluetooth 3.0. Expected to be priced around Rs 16,000 which will be great competition to recently announced Samsung Ace and Gio. All these phones will be out in the market mid 2011.
