Nokia 2 Launched with Android Nougat & 4100 mAh Battery

Nokia’s latest offering to the budget segment is up with the introduction of Nokia 2 into the market today. The new phone from HMD global features a 2 day battery life for nonstop entertainment on the go. The Company claims it to be the most affordable Android powered smart phone.

Nokia 2 features a 5 inch HD LTPS display having 1280 x 720 pixel resolution having 294 ppi as pixel density. Gorilla glass 3 would be on the top for screen protection. Build quality is impressive and is made up to 6000 series aluminum block. Out of the box you will get Android nougat with a planned upgrade to Android Oreo. Google assistant is also included with the package for making your search effortless indeed.

Inside the phone you get Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chip-set on a quad core cortex A7 CPU clocked at 1.3 GHz. It houses Adreno 304 GPU for graphic handling along with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage.

Rear Camera is an 8 MP shooter with LED flash and auto-focus. Where as you get 5 MP snapper on the front. Cameras are capable of shooting videos up to 720p in resolution. Connectivity features are really basic including 4G LTE, VOLTE support and fast charging apparently isn’t supportive on a 4100 mAh battery which the company claims can provide backup up-to 2 days on a normal usage. Will be available in black, white and copper colors to choose from.

Pricing for India isn’t disclosed & global markets would retail the unit for euro 99 which converts to 7460 approx but pricing between Rs.6000 to Rs.6500 would prove favorable for India Markets.
