Nokia N900 finally releases in India

Nokia has launched its latest high-end phone in India, the N900, running on the Linux based Maemo operating system. This phone is as good as a mobile computer with easy access to applications or to make a call and it also multi-tasks like a charm. You can even simultaneously have multiple chats on Ovi, Gtalk, Skype through Maemo on your phone.

The touch screen of the phone has features such as proximity sensor that automatically turns off screen lights during a call, Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, and a Full QWERTY keyboard.

This device is priced at around Rs 30,600, which is definitely bit too much considering the competition and the features available. It will be a better option to purchase this phone as and when the price comes down.
