Google launched its Social networking site Orkut on Jan 2004. It is mostly used by people in Brazil and India. Recently Orkut made some makeover with its style and the live status update function. Now Google launched its new widget for Orkut with several features and we are listing few of the important ones over here.
Live Folder:
You can use live folder to put an Orkut user into it for easy and quick accessibility so you can view their profile, send a scrap, call and text them or send an email in no time. The friends list can be viewed even offline. Thought, syncing option is presently not available with the phone contacts.
Upload Albums:
Pictures on Orkut album can be uploaded using this application. Choose the picture and upload it in new or existing album with the caption. The preview of the photo will also be available as seen on the image above.
Using this application, you can also get scrap notification on the home page. Though you can’t update your status using this app which may be added soon. This application is available on Android Market place for phone running on Android 1.6 and above.
