Overview of the Forum Nokia Developers Conference 2009

Recently Nokia conducted the ‘Forum Nokia Developers Conference’ in Bangalore, operated by Forum Nokia across many countries world-wide to help its app developers with technical know-how and act as a platform for such developers. Unfortunately, I missed out such a huge event by Nokia, and regret for not being there, but Clinton Jeff from ZomgitsCJ has covered the entire event on his blog and you can read about it here

Overview of Forum Nokia and the Forum Nokia Developers Conference:

  • Event held at Taj Residency, Bangalore on 7th December (Monday) primarily to interact with developers and give them a platform to get new ideas and share their ideas with the world
  • Forum Nokia is Nokia’s global developer program currently operating in various countries
  • Forum Nokia helps developers with SDKs (Software Development Kits) for all its operating systems – S40, Symbian and Maemo and technical expertise

Rest, as Clinton mentions “from a consumer point of view, there wasn’t anything new announced at FNDC09. There weren’t any new phones, or services launched. But from a developer perspective it was fascinating”. So, if you are a developer (individual or a company), Forum Nokia is looking to help you out and showcase your work to its millions of users.
