The Android-based Galaxy On7 prime bears a large 5.5-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 pixels. The 16:9 screen aspect ratio is the same, which is available in most of the Samsung phones in this price segment.

In the design segment, the new product from the South Korean mobile maker flaunts the same profile as that of its predecessor, the Galaxy On 7. However, there are minor changes that are significantly visible on the back side of the device. The On7 prime has got a slightly different camera module at the rear that changes the overall design a bit. For photography, the smartphone gets a 13MP camera placed on either side of the device.

The Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime will come in two variants, 3GB RAM + 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage. The storage space can be further enhanced up to 256GB on both the devices. Processing power will come from an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7870 processor.
One of the major highlighted features of this smartphone is the Samsung Pay Mini. It allows the customers to pay via UPI or mobile wallets.

Overall, the Samsung Galaxy On7 Prime misses out both the trending features – the 18:9 ratio display and a dual camera set up. Moreover, the Samsung Pay Mini is a stripped down version of the Samsung Pay. That means, you can not store your credit and debit cards, and it’s only as good as having the regular UPI app or Paytm wallet. For the expected price of around Rs. 15,000, it certainly looks like an expensive deal.
