Hong Kong-based Chinese mobile manufacturer has recently launched the Phantom 9. The phone was earlier announced and launched in Kenya post which it has been brought to the Indian mobile market. The phone’s key aspect is the triple rear camera’s and the in display fingerprint sensor.

The Techno Phantom 9 shall be sold on Flipkart officially starting July 17. It has been priced at Rs.14,999 and will be available in a Lapland Aurora color.

The smartphone comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ water drop notch display. The screen produces 403 PPI as pixel density and has an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The display also houses the in display fingerprint sensor. The brain inside the phone is the powerful Mediatek Helio P35 chipset coupled with 6 GB of RAM. A memory expansion slot is available which increases the internal memory up to 256 GB via microSD card. Apart from that, the phone offers 128 GB of internal storage by default. The device also features an AI-based face unlock option to enhance security on the smartphone.
The device runs on HIOS 5.0 on top of Android 9 Pie. The phone gets its power from a 3,500 mAh battery.
As far as the optics are concerned the Phantom 9 comes with a triple rear camera setup up of 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The rear camera is amazingly complimented with a Super Quad flash module. The front camera is of 32 megapixel which features AI beauty mode and allows wider selfies as well.

The last year launched Tecno Phantom 8 featured 5.7 inch LCD display having 1080 X 1920 pixels. The phone came with Android 7 Nougat. Inside the phone lies the Mediatek Helio P25 chipset on an Oct Core CPU coupled with Mali T880MP2 GPU.
Tecno Phantom 8 supports memory expansion up to 256 GB and comes with 6GB of RAM and 64 GB of default internal memory. The rear side of the phone has dual camera setup of 12M + 13 MP sensors along with a single 20 MP selfie shooter in the front.
