At Computex 2013, Toshiba has announced a new lineup Android tablets – Excite Pure for $299, Excite Pro for $499, and the Stylus-based Excite Write for $599. Although all three have the same design, same 10.1-inch display size, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and an optional keyboard dock, each offer something different on the inside.

Excite Pure features:
- 1280 x 800 resolution display
- Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, 1GB RAM
- 3-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera,
- 16GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot
- Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB

Excite Pro and Excite Write features:
- 2560 x 1600 resolution display (300-ppi)
- Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, 2GB RAM
- 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.3-megapixel rear camera
- 32GB internal storage expandable via microSD card slot
- Dual Harman Kardon speakers
- Micro-HDMI and Micro-USB
While both Pro and Write share similar specifications, the Write, as the name suggests, comes with a Wacom-made digitizer and pressure-sensitive stylus. Toshiba has included TruNote and TruCapture apps on the software for using stylus.
All three tablet models will be available beginning on June 25, 2013. There’s no official word on it’s Indian launch or pricing.
