Infinix, the Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer has launched its new Note 6 smartphone. The smartphone features an elegant design, X Pen Stylus, triple rear cameras, and an AMOLED display. The new note 6 would be the successor of the Infinix Note 5 launched last year. The upgrade from Infinix Note 5 to Note 6 is pretty decent on papers.

Infinix Note 6 Pricing & Availability

The phone is now available for purchase in African countries like Uganda for a price tag of $200 which is approximately Rs. 14000 in India. The device sells in midnight black, mocha brown and aqua blue colors to choose from. Will the phone launch in India or not is completely vague as of now. The phone’s predecessor was launched in India last year, so this new variant should also make it to the markets soon.

Infinix Note 6 Specifications

The Note 6 from Infinix features an AMOLED 6.01 inches display with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2160 pixels. The screen produces a pixel density of 402 PPI. The thickness across the bezels is 7.7 mm along with a combined weight of 173 g. The phone runs on Android 9 Pie out of the box.

Inside the phone lies the Mediatek MT6765 Helio P35 chipset coupled with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Memory is further expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card. The device comes with 64 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM.

In the optical department the Infinix Note 6 sports a triple rear camera setup with 16-megapixel wide lens, 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and 2-megapixel depth sensor. The camera also features a dual LED flash and HDR. On the front panel, you get a single 16-megapixel shooter with a dedicated LED flash.

Connectivity features include 3.5 mm audio jack, WLAN, Bluetooth, GPS and micro USB 2.0. The phone also takes into account a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes shipped with a stylus called “X Pen”. The stylus offers AI and AR to “create immersive sketches or notes in any space within reach”. Besides, you can also use the X Pen and a feature called AR Measure to measure the objects in the real world.

Finally, the phone is powered by a non-removable 4,000 mAh battery which apparently does not support any sort of fast charging out of the box.

Yes Puneet, the device really looks impressive. But they haven’t made any mark in India as of now and are relatively less active when promotions, advertisements or even marketing is concerned.
