Infinix Smart 3 Plus was recently launched. Placed under the budget segment this phone rocks some decent specs for the price range it comes for. The HD + display of 6.21 inch with 720p x 1520 pixel screen resolution produces 269 PPI as pixel density. As per industry standards you will be welcomed with the water drop notch on the display along with a small chin right on the bottom of the display. The front panel is covered with 2.5D curved glass and rear comprises of glass-like gradient design.
Build & OS
The Infinix Smart 3 Plus weighs 148 grams and measures 7.8 mm in thickness making it pretty slick in its segment. The phone is powered by 3500 mAh battery which the company claims can run up to 25 hours on 4G. Works on Android 9.0 Pie operating system under XOS 5.0 which is Infinix’s Proprietary custom skin.
Processor & Memory
Infinix Smart 3 Plus comes with 64 bit 2 GHz quad-core Helio A22 processor paired with an entry level IMG PowerVR GPU and 2GB of RAM. Internal memory would be of 32 GB which is further expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card. The device shall be Flipkart exclusive and will be retailed for Rs. 6,999 which is the first in its class. Smart 3 Plus would be having Saphhire Cyan and Midnight Black colors to choose from which starts selling April 30th on Flipkart. The phone comes bundled with benefits worth Rs 4,500 from Reliance Jio, valid for Jio users only.
Camera
The camera department on the Infinix Smart 3 Plus rocks a triple rear camera setup. One 13MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture, second 2MP depth sensor, and the last one with a low-light sensor. Camera features include PDAF, dual-LED flash, auto scene detection, AR Stickers, and more. On the front, you get an 8 MP sensor with AI Beauty mode and screen flash. The camera also supports AI based auto scene selection, which recognizes up to eight different scenes and adjusts the frame settings accordingly.
The fingerprint sensor is on the back adjacent to the triple camera setup. Face unlock using software tweaks is also inbuilt. Dedicated gaming mode is also present which enables the phones complete resources towards playing a game while it’s running.
