Apart from tweeting, you can also receive SMS messages with twits on your timeline, @mentions and direct messages. To start using the service all you need to do is..
- New twitter users send an SMS ‘SIGNUP’ to 53000 and follow the instructions
- Existing twitter users can link their Airtel numbers with Twitter using this page
- Once you have successfully linked your Airtel number with twitter, all you need to do is, send an SMS with your tweet message to 53000 (Premium SMS charges apply)
