Panasonic launches quad-core based P51 smartphone for Rs.26,900

As we had informed you earlier, Panasonic has re-entered the Indian market with the launch of ‘P51’ Android smartphone. It’s the first in a series of phones that Panasonic will be launching for India. The P51 is priced at Rs. 26,900, which is incidentally near to the pricing of Nexus 4. The P51 will be available from retail chain stores, multi-brand outlets and distributors across India starting from next week.

The company has partnered with Jaina Marketing in India as the ‘Strategic Partner for Marketing, Distribution and Customer Support’ for their smartphones.

Panasonic is bringing a magnetic flip-cover and a stylus to the P51. The P51’s body is a unibody design. The 5-inch IPS display of the phone is made of Asahi Dragon Trail Glass and has an Oleophobic coating to prevent smudges. The phone comes preloaded with apps like Kingsoft Office, Cam Scanner, Cam Card reader and WeChat, among others.
