(Phones arranged according to pricing)

All the 5 phones listed above are in the price bracket of Rs. 4K to Rs. 8.5K and has common features such as Android Operating system (2.3 Gingerbread version), Dual SIM functionality, Capacitive touch screen and the ability to expand phone memory upto 32 GB. Going ahead, lets discuss the winner in several aspects namely Screen size/quality, Camera, Phone Processor, RAM and Internal Memory and its Pricing.

Screen size & quality:

Apart from the mobile operating system (which is common in all the above phones), the first thing most of the smart phone buyers check out for, is the screen size and its display quality in terms of screen resolution. In terms of screen size and resolution, the Micromax Ninja 4 and Ninja 3 wins which bears a 4” and 3.5” screen respectively and decent resolution considering the size of its screen. But if you are planning to buy Ninja 4 just because of its screen size, then just wait, check out its other pros and cons as well.

Winner: Micromax Ninja 4 followed by Ninja 3

Camera:

If specs are to be gone by, Galaxy Y duos spots the best camera. As we are yet to review the phones personally, as per expert reviews from several popular sites online, the camera in Micromax Ninja 3 is at par with Galaxy Y duos.

Winner:

  1. Samsung Galaxy Y Duos
  2. Micromax A57 Ninja

Processor:

All the 3 Micromax phones are powered with a 1GHz processor which is decent enough for day to day activities of a smart phone user. Whereas the Samsung’s counterpart, the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite and Samsung Galaxy Y duos are powered with 832 MHz processor which not bad either, but considering these phones are dearer than the Micromax’s counterpart, we are bit disappointed.

Winner: Tie between Micromax A25 Smarty, A57 Ninja 3 and A87 Ninja 4

RAM & Internal Storage:

When it comes to the phone’s RAM and internal storage, it is the only place where the recently launched Samsung’s Galaxy Y duos lite wins. It has the maximum internal storage space and RAM when compared with the other 4 competing products. But personally speaking, with about 15-20 productivity apps and games, even the amount of RAM and storage provided in the cheapest Micromax – A25 smarty, would be sufficient. Though, if you are enticed with the biggest screen spotting phone – Micromax Ninja 4, be careful that it has an internal memory of mere 100 MB which could trouble you after several apps installation.

Winner Samsung Galaxy Y Duos Lite

Pricing:

The most important factor for the phones in these price bracket is pricing. And this is the place where, yet again Micromax emerges to be the winner with both, Micromax A25 Smarty and Micromax A57 Ninja 3. Just one word for the two phones – VFM (Value For Money).

Winner: Micromax A25 Smarty and Micromax A57 Ninja 3

Mobile Gyaan Verdict:

If you are someone who is very tight on budget and looking for the cheapest available option, then the cheapest Android ever from Micromax – Micromax A25 Smarty is the phone for you guys, but as mentioned in the paragraphs and specs sheet above, the phone has its own advantages and disadvantages. But we are really very impressed with the specs and features on the Micromax A57 Ninja which is just Rs. 1000 more when compared to A 25 smarty. So we strongly suggest you to reconsider going for Micromax Ninja 4 instead of Micromax A25 smarty though both the phones are complete value for money and gets the highest rating from us.

Overall Winner: Micromax A57 Ninja 3

Believe it or not, it’s a mixed feeling for us. We are very happy yet excited to see so many awesome products from Micromax, but at the same time disappointed with the products from Samsung which are priced so high yet low on features and specifications.  Dear Samsung, we would like to bring a full stop to this post by reiterating the question asked by Micromax –
Why y”?

Among Karbonn A5, A7 plus Micromax ninja a57 which one is better and durable ? Is A5 and A7 better than ninja a57 as they both got 512MB RAM ? Which desi brand is reliable ? I LIKED SPECS AND FEATURES OF NINJA 3 AND a5 a7 plus phones. Ninja 3 RAM is only 256MB available RAM is much less. And Karbonn’s bluish tint on A7 is disappointing. I badly wanna buy an Android phone below ₹7000 but I dunno if these desi brand’s products are reliable and durable. That’s why I hesitate to buy it. Please help me which one is good?
