Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications Leaked Online

Xiaomi is already into the news with the Redmi K2 series. A few days before the K20 series goes out on a sale, certain leaks have been surfaced which shows the actual renders and hardware specifications of the new Mi A3 which would be the successor to their earlier launched Mi A1 and Mi A2.

Apparently, its also alleged that the new Xiaomi Mi A3 looks pretty similar to the recently launched Mi CC9. It is also tipped that the Mi A3 lite is also in works by the company. The lite version would be a lowered spec variant of the original Mi A3. Xiaomi Global Spokesperson Donovan Sung also teased the arrival of new Mi A-series phones running Android One. The Mi A3 also is quite similar in specifications with that of the Mi CC9. It also confirmed that the Mi CC9 would not be rebranded as Mi A3 in India.

Mi A3 will reportedly be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC but as per a recent leak from tipster Ishan Agarwal suggests the phone to have Snapdragon 730 SoC and the Mi A3 lite would feature the Snapdragon 675 SoC.

The new Xiaomi budget offering would come with a 6-inch full HD+ AMOLED display along with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2240 pixels. The display comes with a water drop notch which houses a 32-megapixel selfie camera and generates a pixel density of 409 PPI. On the rear side, the Mi A3 is supposed to sport a triple rear camera module consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.79 aperture, 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor.

Inside the Mi A3 will reportedly have Snapdragon 665 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage. The phone might as well have a lower storage model in a queue. Additionally, for memory expansion, the device would offer users to insert a micro SD card into the dedicated micro SD card slot. The Mi A3 would be juiced up by a 4,000 mAh battery which reportedly would feature a 10W fast charging out of the box. The phone will have a 3.5 mm audio jack along with USB Type C port for charging and data syncing.

Currently, the pricing and availability are unknown but since the phone shall be out for sales in Germany in the next few weeks, we can assume the Mi A3 might debut in India pretty soon.
