Realme X Launched Starting at Rs.16,999

After a lot of hype and serious of leaks, tweets the Realme X have finally arrived in India. The phone had also launched earlier in May in China, Bejing. The phone boasts some amazing features at an affordable price. The key features of the phone include a bezel-less display, powerful Snapdragon chipset, dual rear camera setup, and pop up selfie camera.

Realme X Specifications

The Realme X weighs 191 grams with thickness at the edges measuring 8.6 mm. The chassis of the phone is made up of plastic whereas the front section of the phone is covered with Gorilla Glass 5 for protection from accidental drops and scratches. The phone features an AMOLED 6.53 inch touchscreen having 1080 X 2340 pixels resolution and 19:5:9 ratio. The display produces a pixel density of 394 PPI.

The Realme X is powered by Android 9 Pie on top of Color OS 6. Inside the phone sits the Snapdragon 710 chipset on an Octacore CPU coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. The memory inside is not expandable hence the user has to settle with 64 or 128 GB coupled with 4/6 or 8 GB of RAM.

Optics wise the phone features dual rear camera setup of 48 MP wide sensor and 5 MP depth sensors having f/1.7 and f/2.4 aperture respectively. On the front, the phone sports pop up 16 MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

The Realme X comes with an under display fingerprint sensor and a non-removable 3765 mAh battery. The battery also supports 20W fast charging out of the box.

Realme X Price and Availability

The 4GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant is available for Rs. 16,999 whereas the 8GB RAM and 128 GB storage models go out on sale at Rs. 19,999. The sale shall begin exclusively on Flipkart and Realme’s website starting July 24 with a hate-to-wait sale scheduled for 18th July. It will be available in two color variants namely Polar White and Space Blue.

The company shall also sale an X Master Edition which comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage and two distinct onion and garlic variants created in partnership with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, priced at Rs 19,999. The Realme X Spiderman: Far from Home Editon with high-end configuration and custom ColorOS 6 is also priced at Rs. 20,999.
