Mobile Gyaan Verdict:
Both these phones are at the high-end of the price range and no one wants to compromise on any feature, since the buyer literally has to empty his wallet. The Google Nexus S comes out as a clear winner in certain important aspects such as having Android 2.3 OS and a camera with an LED flash. It even has entered the market more recently and as I mentioned earlier, the unlocked version is unofficially available at the above price on ebay India with free shipping.
As far as the Samsung Galaxy S is concerned, its plus points includes that it has an expandable memory option, it is available officially in India and it is already quite a success in the market.
Finally, in this fight between the two Samsung Android smart phones, I think the Nexus S seems like the winner as itβs a phone marketed by Google itself with latest Android gingerbread OS. So lets hope it arrives soon, via the official channel . Do let us know your views too as to which of these two mega phones you would prefer.

just wanted to know the authenticity of this because i can wait for nexus s if its launched soon and with such a price tag.
@Avinash:
Please read the update on the end of this post. Nexus S price and its listing at Infibeam looks unauthentic to us.
Great site guys, keep it up!
I have a budget of INR 20,000. What is the best phone to be bought in this during the first few weeks of 2011.

Check out this post about HTC Wildfire. You’ll probably like it.
I want Google Nexus.. but not for that price!!! I have been browsing endlessly over the last few days
trying to understand which is the best Andorid phone available in India. Sadly, havent been able to
make a choice yet..Guys can anyone here suggest which is ‘the’ phone to go for as I really dont mind
spending if something is really worthy enough? Tx
I feel Google Nexus S is worth the price as its users will have the privilege of getting the latest update of Android OS. Else you do have options like HTC Desire HD and other similar high-end Androids.
hi ria i offered Samsung nexus for 26,900.00 new handset……….

i got nexus S but, my phone hangs a lot. sometimes the network goes away and i have to shut it down n restart the phone for the network. i have vodafone connection.
has anyone faced such problem ? any solution ?
This seems to be very unusual problem. I would suggest you to hard reset (google to know how) your phone and that might help.
Samsung is now launching new version of Nexus s with wimax connection. Nexus S 4G is expected to arrive on 18th April ..hopefully this will be having a 1 GB RAM loaded in it.
