The specifications of the Mi A3 were earlier leaked post which it was launched in Spain. Now the device has been officially launched in India. The Mi A3 would have sole branding on the backside as seen on the new generations of Redmi devices launched earlier this month. The phone comes with an AMOLED display panel, a slightly powerful Snapdragon processor, in-display fingerprint sensor and triple rear camera module.

The Xiaomi Mi A3 comes with 6.01 inch Super AMOLED teardrop display with 720 X 1560 pixel screen resolution which produces 286 PPI as pixel density The phones comes with an aluminum frame along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front as well as the backside. Out of the box, the phone comes with Android One which brings stock vanilla looks like the one found on Google Pixel devices.
Under the display, the phone rocks the mighty Snapdragon 665 chipset from Qualcomm on an OctaCore CPU coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. It houses a memory expansion slot to expand the memory up to 256 GB via micro SD card. Apart from this, the Mi A3 comes in two storage variants for the Indian specific market which includes 4GB RAM and 64 GB Storage, 6GB RAM and 128 GB Storage.
As far as the optics are concerned the phone features a triple rear camera setup with 48 megapixels wide lens, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and 2-megapixel depth sensor placed in an array. On the front, it has a single 32-megapixel selfie shooter.
For connectivity, the phone features 3.5 mm audio jack, WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with GLONASS, Infrared port and USB Type C port for data syncing and charging. The device shall also surprisingly have the in-display fingerprint sensor. Mi A3 will be available in three vibrant color variants, namely More than White, Not Just Blue, and Kind of Grey. It will be powered by 4030 mAh battery which does support 18W fast charging out of the box.
Xiaomi Mi A3 Pricing & Availability
The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is being sold for INR 12,999 whereas the model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage has been priced at INR 15,999. It will be available in three colors namely More than White, Not Just Blue, and Kind of Grey. Mi A3 will be an Amazon India exclusive starting from August 23.
