Xiaomi Mi A3 Launched with Snapdragon 665 and 4,030 mAh Battery

Xiaomi Mi A3 is one of the most anticipated smartphones from the company. Earlier the specifications of the Mi A3 were leaked but the phone now has been officially launched. The third generation of the Mi A series is now available for pre-orders in Spain with sales commencing from July 24th. The phone is said to be the rebranded version of the Mi CC9e launched in China. Also, this time around the phone will not have any Pro or Lite variant.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Specifications

The Mi A3 build is made of aluminum and features Gorilla Glass 5 on the back. The A3 measures 8.5 mm in thickness and weighs 173 g in total. On the display front, the phone packs in an AMOLED screen of 6.08 inches which also features 720 X 1560 pixel screen resolution. The display also houses the fingerprint sensor.

The device would be running on Stock Android 9 Pie as a part of the Android One Program. Inside the phone sits the Snapdragon 665 chipset on an Octa-core CPU coupled with Adreno 610 GPU. It has a hybrid sim slot which can take either two sim cards or one sim and one memory card up to 256 GB.

Optics wise the phone features a triple rear camera setup of 48-megapixel primary (wide) sensor, 8-megapixel secondary (ultra wide) sensor and a 2-megapixel tertiary (depth) sensor having f/1.8, f/2.2, f/2.4 apertures respectively. On the front side, the phone has a waterdrop notch which also houses a 32-megapixel sensor for those crispy and vibrant selfies. The camera is backed by AI features for enhancing the images. The smartphone also offers 4K and slow-motion video recording.

For connectivity, the phone uses 3.5 mm audio jack, WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB type C. The phone is powered by a 4.030 mAh battery which supports 18W quick charging out of the box.

The phone is currently available for pre-orders in Spain with sales starting from July 24th. The variant with 4GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage is priced at €250 ( approx .Rs 19,307). Another variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at €280 ( approx Rs 21,619). The device is expected to launch in India next month and there is no information about its confirmed pricing or availability as of now.
