LG W Series Made Official Starting at ₹8,999

Budget smartphone segment is being explored by smartphone manufacturing giants currently. Earlier Samsung came and launched its most affordable M series. Now the South Korean tech giant LG is leveling up the game with its all-new W series having “For the Win” as the series tag line.

Under this lineup, consumers would be offered the W10, W30 and the W30 Pro. The series promises gradient back finishes, water drop notches, and triple rear camera setups.  Amazon has been rolled in as the associate online sale partner and the sales shall be live starting July 3, 2019.

Price and Availability

The LG W10 would be retail for a price of ₹8,999 and the LG W30 would cost ₹9,999 on Amazon. The first sale exclusively on Amazon is expected to happen on July 3, 2019.

LG W10 Specifications

The LG W10 has a 6.19-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with a notch resembling that of an iPhone X. Inside the phone, you get a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset and has a variant of 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage only. The LG W10 has a dual-camera setup of 13 MP + 5 MP sensors and an 8 MP front snapper. The phone is powered by 4,000 mAh battery and runs Android Pie out of the box. The device is available in Tulip Purple, Grey and Smokey Grey color to choose from.

 

LG W30 & W30 Pro Specifications

Both the phones have a 6.3 inch HD plus display with a water drop notch which houses the front-facing camera. The W30 has got a Mediatek Helio P22 chipset whereas the W30 Pro has got Snapdragon 632 chipset. LG W 30 comes with 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage whereas the LG W30 Pro comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

The camera department on the W30  has a triple setup at the rear with 12+ 13+ 2 (MP) sensors and W30 Pro also have triple-cameras at the back with 13+ 5+ 8 (MP) sensors. Both devices also have a 4,000 mAh battery, face unlock feature and a physical fingerprint sensor. The W30 will be available in Thunder Blue, Platinum Grey, and Aurora Green colors. The W30 Pro colors are yet to be announced. Both the smartphones would be having Android 9 Pie out of the box.
