Samsung confirms Jelly Bean update for original Galaxy Note users

A new micro-site from Samsung for its original phablet, the Galaxy Note, has just popped on the web with some good news. The site confirms Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update for the original Note users.

All the fantastic features of the Note 2 like Multi-window, Air View, etc. will be a part of the update. Additionally, the update will also bring Jelly Bean’s ‘Project Butter’ for some extra smoothness to the Note. Also, Google Now will be added which gets you the right information based on your search history, location, time automatically.

Other additions include pop-up video/browser/note apps, photo note/photo frame, easy clip, paper artist, and new S Planner and email apps. These form a part of Samsung’s Premium Suite update.

Although Samsung has made it official, there’s still no information on its availability. We’re hoping for the update to arrive in all countries by the next month end. Still don’t believe the update is arriving? Check for yourself here.
