Videocon was one of the unlucky cellular operator in India that was not allocated any 3G spectrum during the bidding process and hence, Videocon is currently left without 3G license from the Indian government.
As per Industry experts, some of the cellular operators who could not gain 3G license for themselves will be providing 3G services in the future by collaborating with one of the operators who has 3G license and spectrum. Videocon could be one such operator.
