In an event earlier last evening at Hyderabad, Vivo India has launched a limited edition version of its existing Vivo V5 Plus smartphone naming it as the Vivo V5 Plus Limited Edition Phone. This limited edition phone is launched to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Indian Priemerier League wherein Vivo is also the title sponsor. `
The smartphone will be available exclusively on Flipkart online and also their regular exclusive stores and retail partners in the offline market starting from 10th of April. However, the pricing of the device remains unannounced as of now and we are expecting it to be announced sometime when the phone goes on sale.
In terms of features and specifications, the V5 Plus limited edition phone will be sporting the same features as its sibling but would come in a special matte black variant with the IPL 2010 logo engraved on the rear as it can be seen on the image below. This logo on the back of the phone could be a sweet spot for the cricket, and especially IPL enthusiasts.
Talking about the V5 Plus, it was launched in India earlier in January at a price tag of Rs. 27,980. In terms of features, it is a selife centric smartphone featuring 20 MP and 8 MP dual front camera for the perfect selife. The device runs on the company’s funtouch OS 3.0 on top of Android Marshmallow OS out of the box. It sports a 5.5″ full HD display, powered by 2.0 GHz octa-core snapdragon processor with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB inbuilt storage. In terms of connectivity features, the device offers 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, etc. The device is powered by a 3055 mAh battery.
