The new 6Z from Asus is something everybody had their eyes on. Last years installment Zenfone 5Z was an overnight success having amazing looks and aggressive pricing. This time around you will not see the word “Zenfone” attached with the phone branding. This is because of the lawsuit the company is facing which is restricting them to use the term Zenfone in India.
Asus 6Z Specifications
The 6Z from Asus is 9.2 mm thick and has an overall weight of 190g. The phone features an aluminum frame with corning gorilla glass 6 protection on the front and back sides.
Display on the phone is a 6.4 inch IPS LCD Full HD + display having 1080 x 2340 pixels which produce 403 PPI as pixel density. The phone comes with Android 9.0 Pie having ZenUI 6 on top. Inside the phone, you get Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset on an octa-core CPU coupled with Adreno 640 GPU.
6z comes with a dedicated memory card slot which expands the internal memory up to 1 TB via micro sd card. By default, the phone comes with 8GB/6GB RAM along with 256GB/128GB and 64GB internal memory.
The phone USP would be the motorized controllable flip camera which acts as the rear and the front snapper. The module is equipped with a dual cameras setup of 48 MP (wide) sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 13 MP (ultra wide) snapper with f/2.4 aperture. With its motorized rotation, the rear camera can acts as the front selfie camera as well.
Connectivity features on the phone feature WLAN, 3.5 mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, NFC, FM radio and USB type C connector. The fingerprint sensor is rear mounted along with accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass sensors built in. The phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery which supports fast charging of 18W (Quick Charge 4.0). The battery also supports reverse charging of 10W.
Asus 6Z Price and Availability
The phone shall be exclusively retailed on Flipkart. The 6GB/64GB model will be available for Rs. 31,999. The model with 6GB/128GB variant will be priced at Rs. 34,999 and the model with 8GB/256GB variant will be sold for Rs. 39,999. It will be shipped with Midnight black and Twilight silver colors to choose from. Flipkart shall organize the sale starting from June 26. During the sale, customers can also purchase Flipkart’s complete mobile protection plan for just Rs. 99.
