With semi-budget phones conquering the smartphone market, Realme 3 Pro was launched in India with Snapdragon 710 SoC. Realme 3 Pro is the successor to the last year launched Realme 2 Pro. The phone has been commendably upgraded with performance tweaks and optics for that matter.

Build Quality

With 8.3 MM thickness, the Realme 3 Pro weighs 172 grams in total. The device features a complete front glass design along with a plastic body and frame.

Display & Processor

It features 6.3 inch IPS LCD touchscreen having 1080 x 2340 pixel resolution which generates 409 PPI as pixel density. Its equipped with the latest Snapdragon 710 SoC having OctaCore CPU alongside Adreno 616 for graphics performance.

Memory & Camera

Realme 3 Pro comes with 64/128 GB internal memory coupled with 6GB/4GB RAM. At the same time, the memory is expandable up to 256 GB via microSD card.

As far as the optics are concerned, the phones feature a dual setup of 16 MP + 5 MP (Depth Sensor) rear camera having f/1.7 aperture with dual pixel PDAF and LED flash. The rear camera is capable of shooting 30fps videos at 2160 pixels and 1080 pixels. Front camera optics is equipped with 25 MP selfie sensor having f/2.0 aperture and is capable of recording 30fps videos at 1080p.

Android Version

Realme 3 Pro shall be coming with the latest Color OS 6 running on top of Android 9.0 Pie. Support and updates are guaranteed by the company from time to time.

Connectivity Features

For connectivity, the phones feature Wi-Fi, WiFi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.0 with A2DP, GPS with GLONASS, FM radio, micro USB 2.0. The device also comes built with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. It will ship with Carbon gray, Nitro Blue, Lightning Purple colors to choose from.

Battery

Realme 3 Pro comes with a non-removable Li-Ion 4045 mAh battery which supports fast charging. The company claims it to get charged 50 percent in 30 minutes. Also, it provides a standby time up to 383 hours, talk time up to 32 hours and music playback up to 126 hours.

Pricing

The Realme 3 Pro shall start retailing for Rs. 13999 for the version having 4GB RAM/64GB internals. Whereas the top version with 6GB RAM/128GB internals shall be priced at Rs. 16999. Selected offline stores shall have them on board but online sales shall be exclusive for Flipkart which shall begin on April 29.

Conclusion

Though the top version is a bit more pricy than usual the base variant might see more sales. Indian mobile market is very lucratively placed where the end user wants a lot of feature at a low price. The company’s also introduced the Realme C2 earlier this month.
