Strange but true, a mobile service provider – Vodafone has launched its own social networking app that supports Twitter, linkedin, Facebook and Myspace for various mobile and computer operating systems. And we tried to test out the windows (PC) based Vodafone social networking client and here is a sneak peak of it:
As seen on the images above, the windows client seems to be very simple and easy to use, so we feel the app for mobiles must be as good as this (windows) app. Unfortunately, we could not test it out on our mobile right now, but stay tuned and we will soon post a review of the same after testing it out on various mobile operating systems.
Supported mobile OS as of now are – Android, BlackBerry, Symbian & iPhone and computer OS – Mac and Windows.
Sounds like Vodafone has taken this innovative step as this is a quite cheap and easy way for any brand to get exposure in the media by doing something out of the box!
