How to Disable Automatic Media Download on Telegram

Telegram is one app that we use a lot specifically after WhatsApp. WhatsApp has some or the other restrictions which Telegram lets you overcome. Telegram channels are the most used broadcasting tools where the audience number is not restricted and the message is signed with the channel’s name and not yours. Telegram also promises not to save, sell or steal your personal data, moreover telegram will not support ads ever.

Telegram’s aim is to create a truly free messenger, without the usual caveats. This means that instead of diverting public attention with low-impact settings, they can afford to focus on the real privacy issues that exist in the modern world. Telegram is more secure than mass market messengers like WhatsApp and Line. Telegram is based on the MTProto protocol built upon time-tested algorithms to make security compatible with high-speed delivery and reliability on weak connections. Engineers are working continuously with the community to improve the security of the protocol and clients of the app.

Unlike WhatsApp, Telegram is a cloud-based messenger with seamless sync. As a result, you can access your messages from several devices at once, including tablets and computers, and share an unlimited number of photos, videos, and files of up to 1,5 GB each. And if you don’t want to store all that data on your device, you can always keep it in the cloud.
