The smartphone is expected t be called the Vivo Y90 which could be possibly be priced between Rs.6,000 to Rs.7,000. The official launch date is not disclosed as of yet but as per reports, it’s expected to launch as soon as mid-July. The phone shall be placed in the market under the sub Rs.10,000 price bracket. This smartphone from Vivo will have a tough competition with the already well placed and popular Realme C1, Samsung Galaxy M10, and the Redmi 7A.

Vivo Y90 Specifications

It’s really too early to predict anything but reports claim it to have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage. You may not see a dual rear camera setup on this device as it may have a single 8-megapixel rear shooter and a single 5-megapixel front snapper.

The recently launched Redmi 7A would be a close competition. The Redmi 7A sports 5.45-inch display, Snapdragon 439 octa-core chipset, 13-megapixel rear shooter and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The phone packs in a 4,000 mAh battery which supports 10W fast charging. The
Redmi 7A has brilliant pricing starting at Rs.5,999.

Vivo’s earlier offering the Vivo Z1 Pro is first of its kind from the company to come with Snapdragon 712 SoC and a punch hole display. The device gets its power from a 5,000 mAh battery which supports 18W fast charging out of the box.

LGW series

LG recently came with their W series which is also a budget-oriented series. The phone starts at Rs. 8,999 with triple rear camera and water drop notch. The series includes the W10, the W30 and the W30 Pro. The W10 and W30 come with a MediaTek Helio P22 chipset whereas the W30 Pro comes with Snapdragon 632 chipset.

So for Vivo Y90, the competition is already spiked up and to survive they have to play around with the pricing and the camera quality. Since Vivo is also available offline the selling reach goes up high with every launch and the customers are not restricted for purchase online.
