During the end of last year, there were rumors that Facebook may launch their first phone. But they denied it completely. Now there are reports that Facebook will launch two new phones in partnership with HTC. This phone will run simplified version of Android OS and will sport colors like Facebook web page with its official Logo.
Known Features of the Facebook Phone:
- Notifications of Status updates, news feed and messages in home screen.
- GPS with location-based services.
- Pictures and other data in the cloud.
- Call or mail friends on Facebook Contacts.
It is still unknown if this phone will be operator specific or will be available in commercial market. Other specs like processor and camera are still unknown. This phone is expected to launch in MWC at Barcelona next month.

If it is true than I don’t think it would be very useful. I guess Facebook app is enough to do the job. An entire phone for Facebook doesn’t sound sensible.
