Tip – Check Talktime Balance of any BSNL Prepaid Mobile Number

Here’s a quick tip for you all to find out the unused talk-time balance of any BSNL prepaid mobile number in India. As the title suggests, you need not have the BSNL number along with you, or do not need any authorization from the phone owner, to actually check his/her balance. This tip could be handy especially while topping up or to snoop into someone else’s mobile balance.

As you can see on the screenshots below, all you need to do is:

• Go to BSNL’s portal at portal.bsnl.in
• Click ‘Prepaid mobile recharge’ option and signup for a new account or login (if already have an account)
• When prompted, enter the BSNL prepaid mobile number whose balance you wish to inquire with any amount on the denomination section
  
• Once you click submit, in the payment page you will be shown with the current balance of the same number that you had entered in previous page.
  

This works for most of the telecom circles including Karnataka/Kerala/Odisha/UP/Uttarakhand.
