The much talked Jio 4G’s official website is now live with details on the service offerings. You may also ‘register interest’ for buying Jio 4G SIM cards. However, unlike it has been reported by a few publications earlier, the form is just to generate leads, and not actual sale. As of this writing, there is no official information as to when the services will roll out to the end customers.
During December last year, Jio 4G was made available to Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) employees. Later, it was extended to the friends and family of RIL employees. Each employee could invite 10 relatives or friends to try out the Jio 4G services with unlimited 4G data, calls, and SMS for a period of 90 days.
The word has it that an interested buyer no more requires an invite to purchase the Jio 4G SIM & LYF phone bundle along with three months of unlimited 4G data, calls and SMS.
