Finally the much awaited Mobile number portability facility will be available across all Indian states and telecom operators from tomorrow – 20th January 2011. We hope by now you all must be aware about MNP and other FAQs related to it, else you may have a look on our past post: Mobile Number Portability: Procedure, FAQs and Charges.
The launch of MNP services pan-India is definitely a much awaited thing in Indian telecom Industry and it will probably lead to further tariff reduction in call and SMS charges and increased competition among all service providers. Now the telecom customers will definitely be THE KING. 😉
What’s your take about MNP launch? Which operator are you going to migrate to?
