Vivo S1 to Launch in India Soon with Triple Rear Camera

With Xiaomi and Realme going neck to neck in launching smartphones this year, Vivo isn’t leaving any stones unturned. Vivo Z1 Pro is would be made available for customers for purchase through Flipkart on July 11 through Flipkart. Vivo shall also launch another mid-range Y90 soon in India which would be priced between Rs.6,000 to Rs.7,000.

As per a new report from 91mobiles, the company has plans to launch another smartphone series, the Vivo S1. This series shall be featuring a triple rear camera module and a 32-megapixel selfie shooter. Apparently, the same phone sells in China with the name of Vivo V15 and the same is available in India as well.

The above teaser clearly mentioned that the launch in India would be sooner than we expect but a confirmed date isn’t yet available.

Vivo S1 Specifications

The phones come with triple rear cameras. The rear camera module features 12+8+5 megapixel shooters. The S1 would be available in two storage variants. One with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory and another model with 8GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The former will be priced under Rs. 20,000 and the latter shall be priced under Rs. 25,000.

The phone would also feature a MediaTek Helio P70 octa-core CPU. The display reportedly is of 6.53 inches with a screen resolution of 1080 X 2340 pixels.

The same phone with the exact same design is scheduled to launch in Indonesia on July 16th. The above teaser released by Vivo Indonesia clearly stats the phone to have a waterdrop notch, an in-display fingerprint sensor, 32-megapixel selfie camera, and the two color options. Once the phone officially releases in Indonesia other confirm specifications will be out.

Will this new edition to Vivo’s portfolio make any difference or not, we are not sure but customers would have enough to choose as Vivo has quite a number of launches in the pipeline for every price budget and price range.
